Bring Florida improv to your event

As you can see from the listings on this site, Florida has a robust improv scene with a large network of improvisers to support your event. Tell us how you’d like to be served and someone will contact you with options for your area.

Not sure what you want? That’s normal. Most people aren’t, and the best events usually come out of a quick conversation. Pick whatever sounds closest below, or just ask us to call you.

Questions people ask

How much will this cost?

We know it's frustrating not to see a price menu. Improv is an art and every event is different, but here are real numbers to plan with. In rare cases a solo host can start around $500. Most private performances and workshops land between $2,000 and $10,000. The biggest factors are the number of performers or facilitators, the skill set needed (professional workshops require people with business experience who can translate improv into workplace skills), travel distance, prep work (planning meetings, customization, training), and the length of the show or workshop.

Does filling out the form commit me to anything?

No. It starts a conversation. Nothing is booked until you pay the deposit on your invoice.

I have no idea what I want. Can we just talk?

Yes, and that's how most of our events start. Check "Just call me" on the form, leave your number and a good time, and we'll call you.

What happens after I submit?

We contact you within one business day to understand what you're looking for. We then confirm availability with approved improvisers for your date and area and send you options with pricing. Nothing is invoiced until everything is confirmed.

How far in advance should I book?

Ideally 4–6 weeks ahead for shows and 6–8 weeks for professional workshops, which need customization. Ask about short-notice dates anyway; sometimes it works.

Where can you perform? Do we need a stage?

No stage needed. Offices, conference rooms, restaurant private rooms, backyards, hotel ballrooms and theaters all work. You need an open area where the audience can see and hear. For groups over about 40, a microphone helps a lot.

Will it be appropriate for my audience?

You set the tone: family-friendly, office-safe, or adults-only. Tell us any topics that are off-limits and we'll stay clear of them.

Will my guests be forced to participate?

No. The shows invite participation through suggestions and volunteers, but nobody is pulled onstage against their will. Shy guests can just enjoy the show.

What do you need to know for a roast?

Nothing ahead of time. The interview is part of the show: the performers interview your guest of honor (or a few people) in front of the crowd, so everyone hears exactly what they have to work with. Just tell us any topics that are off-limits.

Can a workshop be tailored to our team's goals?

Yes. Before a professional workshop we meet with you to pin down the outcome you want, such as smoother change adoption, better listening in meetings, or stronger closing skills, and build the session around it.

Can you do this virtually?

Yes. Professional workshops can be run virtually for remote or hybrid teams.

How long is a typical show or workshop?

Shows usually run 45–60 minutes. Workshops range from 90 minutes to a half day or a full day.

How big a group can you handle?

Shows work for 10 people up to several hundred. Workshops work best with 8–40 participants per facilitator; larger groups get more facilitators.

Who are the performers?

Experienced improvisers from Florida's improv community, matched to your event type and approved before they're offered to you. Professional workshops are led only by facilitators with business backgrounds.

Can we see them perform first?

Many improvisers in our network perform publicly. Browse the shows listed on this site to catch one near you.

Do you do kids' parties?

Not generally, but if you have an idea in mind, we're happy to talk it through.

How do deposits and payment work?

A 50% deposit holds your date, and the balance is due before the event. Everything is invoiced electronically.

Is there a contract?

Your invoice is the contract. It lists the full terms, and paying the deposit means you agree to them.

What if we need to cancel or reschedule?

Rescheduling is free up to 14 days before the event, and your deposit carries over to the new date.

Still have a question? Send the form with just your name and number and we’ll call you.
